Area Campgrounds & Info

The tranquility of the area along with the excitement of the parks and entertainment makes for a truly unique work camping experience.

Campgrounds - There are many campgrounds in and around pigeon Forge with many of them overlooking the Smoky mountains. Many of the campgrounds are within 10 miles of Dollywood.

Great Smoky Mountain National Park - The Great Smoky National Park is just 10 miles away and offers camping along with swimming, hiking, horse-back riding, bicycling and many other adventures.

Weather and Temperature - The Pigeon Forge area is known for it’s beautiful seasons and gorgeous surroundings. The temperatures can get as warm as the high 80s and as low as the high 20s. (Work campers will mostly be working outside, so you should be aware of the high humidity level and seasonal temperatures.)
