PIGEON FORGE, Tenn. (Mar. 21, 2014)—Just like the unique beauty of each season in the Smoky Mountains, Dollywood also offers a completely different and exciting experience for guests during each season of the year. In 2014, Dollywood welcomes five festivals, each with its own atmosphere for park visitors to enjoy. International stage productions, concerts by bluegrass and Southern gospel favorites, the six-time winner for Best Christmas Event, as well as a nightly summer fireworks show provide seasons of fun at Dollywood!

Thrilling new shows, the world-wide phenomenon Mother Africa and the elegance of La Danza de Colombia, highlight a stellar lineup of international performances during Dollywood’s Festival of Nations, March 22 through April 21. Cultures from around the world are on display during this delightfully diverse celebration. Countries are represented through authentic demonstrations of music, dance, food and art. Traditional cuisine and cultural activities allow guests a glimpse into the rich traditions of other countries. Dollywood’s 2014 Festival of Nations lineup also includes Moscow Nights, Strings of Fire, Streichmusik Alder, Zebra Stelzentheater and many more.

A perfect way to jump start the summer, Dollywood’s Barbeque & Bluegrass pairs the best barbeque in the South with the biggest names in bluegrass. This May 24-June 8 event includes free daily concerts throughout the park from artists including The Time Jumpers featuring Vince Gill, The Boxcars with J.D. Crowe, Riders in the Sky, The Bankester Family and many more. While the music serves as a treat to the ears, Dollywood’s award-winning food provides the perfect complement for the taste buds. Tender and tangy ribs, pulled pork, barbequed chicken, smoked sausage and more make this the ultimate family picnic.

After a popular debut in 2013, Dollywood’s Great American Summer (June 13- Aug. 3) is extended to give families more opportunities to enjoy Dollywood at night! Longer park operating hours—10 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily—and a spectacular nightly fireworks show provide the perfect atmosphere to enjoy Dollywood’s award-winning rides, shows and attractions.

Dollywood’s Harvest Festival featuring the National Southern Gospel Celebration presented by Humana (Sept. 22- Nov. 1) paints a spectacular palette of autumn colors throughout the park. During this festive event, the sounds of beautiful Southern gospel music echo from stage to stage thanks to multiple free concerts each day. Guests are treated to amazing demonstrations from talented crafters, and the park’s menus change to reflect the offerings of a bountiful fall harvest.

A six-time winner for Best Christmas Event, Dollywood’s Smoky Mountain Christmas presented by Humana (Nov. 8 – Jan. 3, 2015) features four million holiday lights and spectacular holiday performances, including Dollywood’s A Christmas Carol, with Dolly Parton’s hologram as the Ghost of Christmas Past. From the award-winning shows and elaborate holiday decorations to the twinkling lights and Christmas-themed menus, Dollywood captures the essence of Christmas.

In addition to five fabulous festivals, FireChaser Express, the nation’s first dual-launch family coaster, makes its debut in 2014, Dollywood’s 29th operating season.
