PIGEON FORGE, Tenn.—Dollywood’s fourth annual Thrills in the Hills, an event created with ride enthusiasts and coaster fans in mind, is set for May 20-22.

The event includes exclusive ride time on Dollywood’s most popular roller coasters, including the award-winning Thunderhead and Mystery Mine, before and after the park’s regular operating hours.

“So many folks, myself included, are fascinated by roller coasters. Dollywood’s Thrills in the Hills event goes beyond the ride, and lets participants gain that extra insight into the design and mechanics as well as the shared experience among others who crave the thrill that only truly unique coasters offer,” said Dollywood’s Publicity Manager Pete Owens.

Participants also enjoy a catered lunch, reserved seating for Dollywood’s award- winning shows, rare behind-the-scenes tours of the coasters and a free event t-shirt. For an additional fee, participants also can opt for a performance of Dolly Parton’s Dixie Stampede Dinner Attraction and a ticket to Dollywood’s Splash Country.

Ticket prices for the weekend event are $85 for adults; $75 for children (ages 4-11); $50 (Dollywood adult season passholder) and $40 (Dollywood child season passholder). Those who register by midnight on Friday, April 22, receive free parking for the three-day event. Online registration is available at
