Volunteer Program

Dollywood’s Work Volunteer Program Offers Unique Fund-raising Opportunity. If your not-for-profit group is looking for a fun way to raise funds, then you may want to look into Dollywood’s Work Volunteer Program.

Dollywood ShowsAny 501(c)3 organization with a valid tax ID number can qualify for the Work Volunteer Program (all Work Volunteer Program participants must be at least 18 years of age.) Not-for-profit agencies, booster clubs, churches and school groups have all taken advantage of this unique fund-raising opportunity.

Here’s how it works: Each Work Volunteer is credited with $7.00 per hour worked. The group will receive one check for its members’ total hours worked per week. In addition, for each day a Work Volunteer works, each will receive a meal voucher and a free one-day ticket to either Dollywood or Dollywood’s Splash Country.

Dollywood teams seeking assistance place volunteer requisitions with the Human Resources Office. A representative, in turn, contacts the program’s registered not-for-profit groups. Groups available on holidays and during the parks’ peak attendance times will be assigned more work, and, therefore, earn more money. Most Work Volunteer Program participants will work in food service locations where they will prepare food or clean.

Just as our Dollywood Hosts do, Work Volunteer Program participants are asked to “Create Memories Worth Repeating” for guests and fellow Hosts. To help familiarize Work Volunteer Participants with Dollywood and our commitment to guest satisfaction, each participating group attends a brief training session that includes a tour of the park. Work Volunteer Program participants follow the same guidelines and regulations as Dollywood Hosts.

If your group is interested in participating, contact Tiffany Boling at 865-429-9746 or tboling@dollywood.com to request enrollment information.
