The string music band Alder Urnäsch was founded in 1884 by two brothers Alder. Currently the fourth and fifth generations of the group continue the musical traditions in different arrangements of family and friends. The Alders play Swiss folk music, using traditional instruments including violin, dulcimer, bass, accordion, alphorn and cow bells. Enjoy the upbeat and traditional music from the Alps of Switzerland here in the Smoky Mountains of Tennessee.
