Mystery Mine

What if there is no light at the end of the tunnel?  Find out on Dollywood’s new Mystery Mine® steel coaster where a 1,811-foot track travels through an abandoned coal mine.  Uncertain encounters and amazing maneuvers await, including a hair-raising 95-degree, 85-foot vertical drop that plunges into darkness!

Special Safety Information:  This ride may not operate in extreme heat, cold or inclement weather.  To ensure the safety of our guests, all passengers must be seated in one seat with the restraint in its locked position.  If the ride operator is unable to secure the restraint in the locked position, you will not be permitted to ride the Mystery Mine.  If in doubt, please use the test seat located near the ride entrance.

Special Attraction Information: Mystery Mine is subject to closures during inclement weather conditions including lightning, snow, extreme cold, or hot temperatures and high winds. To ensure the safety of our Guests, all passengers must be seated with the restraint locked in its lowest position. Due to the nature of the restraint system and seat configuration, this attraction may not accommodate Guests of larger stature. These Guests are encouraged to use the test seat prior to entering the queue line.

Note: Guests must be able to fit properly into all ride restraint systems to participate. Due to the nature of the restraint systems and seat configurations, certain attractions may not accommodate individuals approaching 270 pounds and/or 6 feet 4 inches in height. Guests of larger stature are encouraged to use test seats prior to entering the queue lines at Wild Eagle, Mystery Mine, Barnstormer and Thunderhead.

For the safety of Guests nearby, those wearing casts, braces or prostheses may be unable to ride due to the inability to be properly restrained.
