When talking with mom friends, I often hear that visiting water parks is "too hard" with small children. I have two young boys, so I get it. At this point in motherhood, I feel like I'm finally getting out of the weeds a bit and am able to truly discover what my children enjoy among the many options of things to do this summer. I wanted to share my recent trip to Dollywood's Splash Country as encouragement to families who want to try a water park, but are a little hesitant. While my children are still not tall enough to ride everything (and we still have to factor in naptime!), we were able to spend eight hours playing and making memories on our last visit to the water park. My husband and I were impressed with how much fun we ALL had (haha). There are nine attractions we can all do together because our little guy is 36 inches tall now. There are 12 attractions my 4-year-old is tall enough to do (he's 42 inches). As we learned, that's plenty to give us a full day!
