Triumphant Quartet | Showstreet Theater | 2:30 PM, 4:30 PM, 6:30 PM

Triumphant is the face of quality Gospel Music, Christian integrity, family values, friendship and dedication. The group has been that way since their beginnings in 2003, when the four friends first walked out on to the stage of the Louise Mandrell Theater, in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee as a headlining talent. Each current Triumphant group member was there in that defining moment, and has continued together ever since. Their smooth harmonies, and rich quartet sound quickly gained them national attention, recognition and concert demand. That popularity promoted the group in 2008, from singing daily at the theater, to touring nationally and performing in major concert venues, auditoriums and churches. It has also voted them the Fan Favorite Quartet in the Gospel Music field for the last nine years, and each group member also being nominated for and receiving various awards. Triumphant Quartet has had five #1 songs and several others have climbed the Top 40 music charts. They have also received four album of the year as well as three song of the year, which has also contributed to their popularity. Wayne Watson | Showstreet Theater | 2:30 PM, 4:30 PM, 6:30 PM

The songwriter known for his remarkable depth and relevancy has just brushed past the milestone marker of half a century—most of it shared intimately on the trail with God and his music. Much of the journey has been chronicled within the library of songs contained on more than two dozen album projects since his memorable breakthrough album Working In The Final Hour caught the imagination of an entire generation of Christian music listeners and radio with its’ release in 1980. To say his vocal styling and lyrics of open, honest communication of God’s presence in everyday life circumstances helped lay the foundation on which today’s contemporary Christian music is built would in no way be an overstatement.

Russ Taff | Showstreet Theater | 2:30 PM, 4:30 PM, 6:30 PM

Russ Taff was born the fourth of five sons to a fire-breathing Pentecostal preacher father and a gospel music-loving mother.  He learned early on that when he sang, people responded.  Some of his earliest memories are of being balanced on the church altar by his mother's strong arms while he belted out a gospel chorus to the rollicking encouragement of the tiny congregation.  His trademark rich, emotion-drenched vocals were formed in that fertile environment. Russ Taff's music has won a total of 6 Grammy awards and 18 Gospel Music Association Dove awards.  He has been hailed by Billboard Magazine as "the single most electrifying voice in Christian music," and cited as a musical influence by artists as diverse as Bart Millard of Mercy Me, Jason Crabb, Michael Tait and the Kings of Leon.

Blind Boys Of Alabama | Celebrity Theater | 2:00 PM, 5:00 PM

Hailed as "gospel titans" by Rolling Stone, the Blind Boys first rose to fame in the segregated south with their thrilling vocal harmonies and roof-raising live show. They released their debut single, "I Can See Everybody’s Mother But Mine," on the iconic Veejay label in 1948, launching a 70-year recording career that would see them rack up five GRAMMY Awards (plus one for Lifetime Achievement), enter the Gospel Music Hall of Fame, collaborate with everyone from Mavis Staples and Stevie Wonder to Prince and Lou Reed, and perform on the world's most prestigious stages. It would be difficult to overstate the Blind Boys' influence on their contemporaries and the generations that came after. The New York Times said that they "came to epitomize what is known as jubilee singing, a livelier breed of gospel music," adding that "they made it zestier still by adding jazz and blues idioms and turning up the volume, creating a sound…like the rock 'n' roll that grew out of it." TIME Magazine raved that "they're always hunting for - and finding - the perfect note or harmony that lifts an old tune into the sublime," while The Washington Post praised their "soul-stirring harmonies" and "range of cross-genre collaborations," and The New Yorker simply called them "legendary.”

Carman | Showstreet Theater | 2:30 PM, 4:30 PM, 6:30 PM

If there is any original trademark to Carman's repertoire, it is what we could only identify as a 'story song'. A combination of drama, rock, comedy, funk, satire, acting, singing, and preaching, all woven together by an unpredictable wit that can only be described as a full length feature film in 7 minutes. A style not duplicated or even attempted by any other artist in any other musical genre. With compositions like "Sunday's on the Way", "The Champion", "Lazarus Come Forth", "Revival in the Land", "Witches Invitation", "This Blood" and even "The Courtroom", simply put, Carman is a true American original.
