Dollywood Fall Shopping Tips

Ready for a new season? ME, TOO! (In more ways than one. I bet you can relate!) I've written about fall merchandise before-we have some really great shopping options! From de©cor to apparel and gifts, if you love this seasonDollywood is a delight. I get excited when I start to see our window displays switching out. Let this be your notice: when you see an autumn wreath on the door of one of our shops, you can bet there's fall merch not too far behind! When I strolled through the park last week, I already found lots of table-scapes (Mountain Laurel HOME), outdoor decor (Blacksmith & Foundry) and kitchen wares with seasonal vibes (The Southern Pantry). Don't forget the fall treats: carrot cake and pumpkin praline fudge (on the candy side of Showstreet Ice Cream)!









With Harvest Festival presented by Humana just a few weeks away, you know there's more fall shopping on the way. I thought I would use this opportunity to share a few Dollywood shopping tips with you: as festivals change, watch for merchandise to go on sale to make room for the next season!

Secondly, did you know that if you get home from Dollywood and kick yourself for not purchasing the one-of-a-kind item you fell in love with while you were visiting us, you can call 865-428-9542 to purchase by phone and have it shipped? Specifically, I'd like to point out the custom signs at our Blacksmith & Foundry. Turn-around time is two to three weeks, but you can have a one-of-a-kind sandcast sign made with your house number, "Grandpa's Garage," etc. Read about (and watch!) the craftsman's process here.

Also, I'd like to be SURE you know that when you visit Mountain Laurel HOME, basically everything in the shop is for sale. Don't miss the GORGEOUS light fixtures and the furniture.
