Mobility Devices, Segways ® & Golf Carts
Dollywood Resorts are committed to providing guests a safe and enjoyable experience. Guests with disabilities may use mobility devices designed for people with mobility disabilities anywhere in our properties. These include manual and power wheelchairs, scooters, walkers, canes, and any other type of non-powered mobility device.
Guests with disabilities may also utilize non-traditional powered mobility devices, with the exception of those listed below, as long as they meet the following requirements: (1) The device must not exceed 36" (92 cm) width by 52" (132 cm) length; (2) it must be manually or electrically powered and operated at a walking pace; (3) it must be single rider only; and (4) it must not have any passenger carriers, or trailers.
Because of different pathway configurations and terrain, as well as large crowds that include small children and strollers, we regret that we cannot permit the use of golf carts, two-seat ECVs, ECV bicycles, tricycle child carts or two-wheeled, self-balancing electric vehicles such as Segways on any of our properties. Dollywood Parks & Resorts reserves the right to deny entry to any mobility device deemed unsafe for use in our properties. Dollywood Resorts do not offer wheelchairs for rent. Wheelchairs can be rented at both Dollywood and Dollywood’s Splash Country.
Service Animals
Service animals are welcome at Dollywood Resorts. Service animals are dogs and miniature horses that have been individually trained to do work or perform tasks for the benefit of the individual with a disability. Comfort animals, emotional support animals, or therapy animals are not service animals and are not permitted at Dollywood Resorts. Service animals must remain with their owner and under the control of their handler at all times and be housebroken. If at any time a service animal’s behavior is out of control, the guest will be asked to remove the service animal from the property. Except under limited circumstances, service animals must be on a harness or leash no longer than four feet. Owners are responsible for caring for their service animal and cleaning and disposing of any animal waste.
Service animals are not allowed in swimming pools or other bodies of water.
Dollywood Resorts is equipped with service animal relief areas.
Companion Assistance
Due to the mountainous park terrain at all Dollywood Parks and Resorts properties, guests who are legally blind or who have vision impairments should consider enjoying our properties with a companion.
Food and Beverage Policy
Guests of Dollywood Resorts are welcome to bring coolers during their stay. However, glass is not permitted on the pool decks. Guests with special dietary needs should refer to the Special Dietary Needs section in this guide.
To make the most of your Smoky Mountain Adventure, we encourage all guests to download the official Dollywood App. The app offers easy ticket & pass management, custom lists for planned activities, convenient access to interactive maps & wayfinding, ride wait times & show schedules, and filter options to find the perfect attractions for every family member.
ADA Accessible Parking
Accessible spaces are available for parking and are filled on a first-come, first-served basis and may reach capacity. If all accessible parking spaces are occupied, the guest Drop-off and Pick-up area next to the resort entrance may be utilized for ease of dropping off and picking up guests with disabilities.
All vehicles parked in a marked accessible parking space must have a government-issued license plate or displayed accessible parking tag. Without proper permits violators may be subject to fines issued by the City of Pigeon Forge Police Department and/or towing of the vehicle at the owner’s expense.
Transportation
Guests staying at Dollywood Resorts have complimentary trolley transportation to and from Dollywood and Dollywood’s Splash Country. Guests with disabilities may utilize wheelchairs and Electric Convenience Vehicles (ECVs) on the trolleys as long as they meet the following requirements: (1) The device must not exceed 36" width by 52" length; (2) it must be manually or electrically powered and operated at a walking pace; and (3) it must be single rider only.
