Born and raised in South Alabama, Katie Blankenship dreamed of one day calling the Smoky Mountains home. Growing up with a family who loves music, Dolly Parton’s songs were just one of the many artists being sung throughout her house. Katie is a graduate of the University of Southern Mississippi with a degree in Media Production. After spending four years as a multimedia specialist, she decided to trade the beach for the mountains. Now, she spends her days behind the camera capturing stories and creating videos for Dollywood’s social media accounts. She currently resides in Sevierville, with her two pups Boone and Crockett. When she isn’t at Dollywood, Katie enjoys hiking with her dogs, leading worship, kayaking and visiting every local coffee shop she can find.
