Operating Hours & Daily Schedules

We know that one of the most important aspects of planning a trip to Dollywood is knowing park operating hours and show schedules during your visit.

Operating hours for the entire season are published as soon as they become available, but are always subject to change. Be sure to double-check operating hours before your trip.

Dollywood is proud to offer dozens of shows and entertainment options throughout the season. Show schedules are typically published no later than two weeks in advance, but are still subject to change. Be sure to check the schedule prior to your visit for the most recent updates.

Height Requirements on Rides

If you’re visiting us with children shorter than 48 inches in height (or you’re just not sure), visit Dollywood’s Centralized Measuring station located on Showstreet between Rental Services and the Ride Accessibility Center. At Dollywood's Splash Country, look for Centralized Measuring on the left before you cross the first bridge.

A host will measure your child and given a color-coded wristband which helps you and your children quickly identify which rides he or she is tall enough to ride. The wristbands correspond to the color-coded information displayed on signs at each ride.

Taking advantage of our Centralized Measuring service early in the day can help you and your family avoid the disappointment and frustration of waiting in line only to discover your little ones aren’t tall enough to ride. Children can ride if they meet both the minimum height requirement and additional rider requirements as established by each ride's manufacturer to ensure guest safety.

Ride Accessibility

Dollywood is committed to providing a safe and enjoyable environment for our guests. Our Ride Accessibility Center is available to serve our guests who have an accessibility need and would like to enter an attraction through the accessibility entrance. A Dollywood Host will provide you with detailed information about our rider requirements to help you make well-informed decisions to safely, comfortably and conveniently experience our rides.

Parent Swap

When members of a group do not meet minimum height requirements, Dollywood’s “Parent Swap” program provides hassle-free boarding of rides and attractions. This program is easy; here’s how it works: The entire group enters through the regular guest line where the ride Host will explain and facilitate the “Parent Swap.” (Strollers and/or loose articles are not permitted.) One adult waits with the child in a secure area (i.e., behind the loading gate or the ride exit gate; a Dollywood Host will direct you to the appropriate location.) while the rest of the group rides the attraction. Once the group returns, the adults will “swap” places with each other. On some rides, other group members may be allowed to ride again for the second half of the “swap.” After the “Parent Swap,” guests will exit with other riders.

Ride Wait Times

Dollywood is happy to publish wait times for its most popular rides so you can spend less time in line and more time creating memories. Just download the Dollywood mobile app for iOS or Android. Ride Wait Times are visible once you are on property at Dollywood.

Weather Guidelines

We value your safety. In the event of occasional inclement weather, we may need to close some or all of our rides. During these times we invite you to visit indoor attractions, shops or restaurants until the severe weather passes. During storms, re-opening will be based on when the weather has moved away from the park.

During the colder months, closures are based on temperature.

Rainchecks

Dollywood

If the park experiences rain for more than one hour on the day of your visit, we will gladly give you a raincheck to return another day. We understand that rain can sometimes lessen your park experience and we are happy to have you visit us again! Please stop by Guest Services to pick up your raincheck before you leave the park.

Dollywood's Splash Country

If park operations are interrupted because of severe weather and your stay is shortened, you can request a Rain Check—just ask. Rain Checks are distributed at any ticket window and are valid until the end of the season. They will not be distributed just because it rains. Rain Checks are not available for Season Passholders.

Strollers, Wheelchairs & ECVs

Dollywood is happy to accommodate guests with mobility needs. Strollers (single and double), wheelchairs and electronic convenience vehicles (ECVs) are available day of visit, first come, first served. A portion of our ECV fleet is available for online reservations each day, and payment is required in advance. The rest of our fleet is available on a first-come, first-serve basis. Must be reserved at least 48 hours in advance.

TimeSaver & TimeSaver H2O

More Time, Less Wait! TimeSaver Passes allow you expedited access to lines at select* rides. While all rides and shows are still FREE with your paid admission, TimeSaver helps you maximize your visit so you can spend less time waiting in line.

We offer both Regular and Unlimited TimeSaver options. Additionally, Dollywood's DreamMore Resort and Spa guests receive a complimentary TimeSaver for each day they visit Dollywood.



For Dollywood's Splash Country visitors, we offer TimeSaver H2O, a convenient line reservation system that allows you to reserve a position in line for many of the water park’s most popular attractions-- without standing in line! There are three different levels of TimeSaver H2O.

Doggywood

Although pets are not permitted inside Dollywood (except for service animals), we are pleased to offer accommodations for dogs at Doggywood. Doggywood is located adjacent to Guest Services at Dollywood’s Front Gate. Space is limited and reservations are highly recommended. Without a reservation, we cannot guarantee there will be availability on your day of visit.

Parking

Dollywood is pleased to offer a variety of parking options based on our guests' needs. Standard parking is $20 per car or $25 for oversize vehicles like RVs. Preferred Parking is also available for $30. Resort Guests can park for FREE at DreamMore Resort and take a shuttle to both parks. Smoky Mountain Cabin guests can also park for FREE.

Souvenir Mugs

Dollywood is pleased to offer both Daily and All Season Refill Souvenir mugs. Discounts are available when purchasing multiple daily refill mugs.

Photo Passes

Capture memories throughout the year with a Season Photo Pass valid for Dollyood and Dollywood's Splash Country.

We Can't Wait To See You

Since the onset of the pandemic, we have closely monitored and assessed virus rates, public health recommendations, regulatory requirements, and agency guidance to inform and implement our safety protocols. Given the latest information we have and the recent decline in infection rates and hospitalizations, the determination has been made to adjust our COVID-19 requirements. At this time, masking is optional for employees and guests, regardless of vaccination status.

The safety and wellbeing of our hosts and guests remains our top priority and we will continue to monitor the situation closely. Please note that changes may occur at any time, based on available public health information.
