These days, everyone wants to not only enjoy their vacation, but have amazing and fun photos to show for it and post on social media. It’s fun, it’s unique, and a great way to make memories that last a lifetime. Dollywood has done an amazing job of having so many beautiful locations for photos throughout the park. I could list 50 different spots and still not list them all, so I thought I would write a post and just share some of the more “popular” ones, in no particular order. So, make sure you don’t miss the 10 most Instagrammable spots at Dollywood on your next visit! Main Entrance Sign: You can’t miss this big beautiful sign right at the entrance to Dollywood! It is decked each festival in a different treatment. The best part—there’s a photographer there ready to take your family photo. (And, if you'd rather use your own camera, you can do that, too!) Say cheese!
Butterfly Logo: This is actually my favorite because of the logo that reminds me of my childhood. We try and take a picture here every visit! Look for it off to the side between Showstreet Palace Theater and the Sweet Shoppe so you can take your time and get the perfect shot.
Dollywood Heart: This fun sign is at the top of the hill in Timber Canyon near the restrooms. This one makes a great Christmas card!
Best Day Ever Sign: How adorable are my parents in this photo? You can find this sign heading from Mystery Mine toward Wilderness Pass in The Plaza. Go up the steps and you will see it. We love this whole area for photos!
Wall of Butterflies: This spot in Wildwood Grove is probably the one you have seen on social media the most. It’s just so fun and so “Dolly!” I love that there are butterflies of different heights so that your kiddos can join in the fun, too!
Hatching Eggs: These adorable guys can also be found heading from Mystery Mine towards Wilderness Pass. My daughter loves them. It's a great spot for kids AND families to pose together!
The Dollywood Express: The train is something so special and unique at Dollywood, it is a must-do ride and must-do photo op! If you head to the front of the train before she leaves the station, you can get some really neat pictures.
Dolly Quote: When Dollywood renovated The Emporium in the off-season, this beauty became a new photo op this season. I just love it! As you are heading out of the park through the shop, you will see this on the wall to your left. A great quote for an Instagram post, and a great way to end your day at the park.
On a Black Bear: Getting a ride photo is a must for Instagram, or it didn’t happen right? The black bears in Wildwood Grove are the perfect spot to flash a smile for the gram. They don’t move fast, so the photo won’t come out blurry.
With a Character: There are different characters that walk around the parks, especially, in Wildwood Grove. We are partial to Benjamin Bear, he’s just so cute and cuddly!
