Psst, Locals! Don’t Miss The Spa at Dollywood’s DreamMore Resort

Now that the hustle and bustle of the always-busy holiday season is over, people just want to take a moment to recharge. (I know I do!). The Spa at Dollywood’s DreamMore Resort is a true hidden gem for locals. One thing many people don’t realize is that you do not have to be staying as a guest to utilize The Spa! Not only that, but the resort and spa are still running like normal during Dollywood’s off-season when the park is closed.

When you enter through the front doors of the resort, you’ll head down the stairs and to the right, walk down what I like to call “The Dolly Hallway,” and then you’ll find The Spa tucked away on the right.

Upon entering, you’re met with the utmost taste, glamour and tranquility. It’s so peaceful it’s truly easy to forget you’re at one of the most visited theme parks in the country! You will check in at the reception desk (make sure you take a moment to browse through all the lovely products they offer!) and then you’ll be led to the gorgeously-comfortable waiting area. From there you will grab a robe, shoes and a locker, and get ready for your appointment in the available restroom.

The Spa offers a variety of services including: massages, body treatments, facials, waxing, hair and nail services. No matter what you choose, you will enjoy professionalism and great value. I selected a custom facial and relaxation massage.

I was delighted when I realized I got to stay in the same room for both services. Once I got comfortable in the heated bed for my facial, I didn’t get up until two hours later after my massage was finished. I did a custom facial where an esthetician took note of my concerns and desires and made sure to cater to the needs of my skin. It was a dream that went by too fast. I didn’t wait more than a couple of minutes before the masseuse came in and got to work. The entire time I was comfortable, carefree and unaware of anything going on outside of my room – which was just what I needed!

I will warn you, though, when I left, I was sad I had to drive home rather than staying at the resort. I was so relaxed I would have loved to hop on the elevator and ride up to a suite for an afternoon nap. With that said, I also left feeling content that I had set aside time for myself to recharge on a random Wednesday. I even patted myself on the back that I was able to get an extra good deal as a local. I can’t wait to go back!
