Dollywood’s Memory Pass Explained

“A picture is worth a thousand words.” This is especially true at Dollywood! Did you know that Dollywood has both single day and multi-day photo pass options? You won’t have to lose any photograph opportunities (or lose a family member in a photo when they take the role of photographer!) while you make memories this season.

What Is the Dollywood Memory Pass?

The Dollywood Memory Pass is a small, laminated card (with a barcode and QR code printed on one side) that guests can purchase each season. Any photos a Dollywood host takes of your family can be loaded onto the card; coasters with on-ride photos can be saved as well! Guests can choose between a single day pass or a multi-day pass to enjoy throughout the season.

How Do Photos Get Loaded to Your Pass?

If a roaming photographer takes photos of your family at the park entrance or at any of the park’s picturesque installations, the host will give you a small slip of paper, called a shot card. When you are ready, simply present the slip(s) to a host at Flashbulb Photos (located to the side of Dollywood’s Emporium, near the park exit) or one of our photo kiosks, and they will be happy to make sure all images from the day are saved and ready to be downloaded.

Did you enjoy the thrills and chills of Thunderhead, Wild Eagle, Daredevil Falls, Tennessee Tornado or Lightning Rod? Nothing captures the moment of surprise and delight like an on-ride photo! Check out the photo viewing station near these ride exits to make sure your photo is added to your pass.

Beginning this spring, you don't have to wait until the end of the day to do it at Flashblub as you leave the park. You can still do that if you want to, but now you can upload your photos at Thunderhead, Tennessee Tornado, Lightning Rod and Wild Eagle in addition to Flashbulb Photos.

How Can I Access My Photos Later?

Downloading photos to your mobile device, tablet or a computer is a breeze. Simply visit this website to make an account (if you’ve never had a pass before), and start viewing your images.

Not only can you view the images as photographed, but guests can add seasonal frames or stickers and zoom in on images. Frames and stickers update throughout the year to reflect the most beautiful features of Dollywood’s four festivals- this is such a fun way to remember the season and year of your visit when you look back on these precious family memories.

And, don't worry about printing your favorite photos from your choice of retailers. Once your account is created, you have access to a copyright release on the website.

Is This “Add On” Really Worth It?

Absolutely! Even if your family only visits one day out of the year this package can save so much money. There are photography opportunities at the park entrance, near particularly scenic views and installations, under Dollywood’s iconic sky decorations and so much more.

Can I Still Purchase Printed Images and Packages?

Of course! When adding your digital images to your photo pass, simply ask the host about any print packages. Guests can purchase prints, acrylic frames, ornaments, and more! These physical gift items make great presents to your loved ones as they look back on a season of Dollywood memories. With the Memory Pass, if you want Dollywood to print a photo, it's just $5, plus tax.
